Alouettes sign QB Quinlan

The Montreal Aloutettes have announced that they signed McMaster University star Kyle Quinlan to a two-year deal yesterday.

Quinlan led McMaster's to a championship title last season, as they beat out the Laval Rouge et Or for the Vanier Cup. he was named tournament MVP, going 36-55, 482 yards, 106 rushing and 2 touchdowns.

Quinlan seems to have a bright future ahead of him, as he looks to be the one who will take over the team when Anthony Calvillo will retire. Those are big shoes to fill, but his impressive resume shows that he is up for the task and a proven champion.

Quinlan will likely be placed as a third string quarterback, behind Anthony Calvillo and Adrian McPherson. he will replace Ricky Santos, who only made one appearance for the Alouettes last season, and who was also the team's main holder.

This signing is very positive for the future of the Alouettes, as it seems they have found their quarterback of the future, the one who will take over Calvillo's legacy.
